Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ruffuss Passat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Indi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Passat's entrance music is looser by Beck. A fine choice. Steve Indi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Passat fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Indi sprawls well initially but Passat persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Passat wants to lay and pray for a moment but Indi keeps working.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Indi misses with a head shot. Passat uses the momentum to regain guard.

Indi would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Indi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Passat swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Passat throws a sloppy head kick and Indi moves out of range easily.
Passat wants to clinch.
Passat closes the distance and lands a one-two.

That was a close round but I would say that Ruffuss Passat will probably get the nod.

Passat tries to close the distance and clinch but Indi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Passat comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Passat misses with a few strikes there.
Indi looks for a takedown but Passat sprawls well.
Passat throws a hook but Indi avoids it easily.
Indi takes a head kick and keeps coming.

and Passat connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Indi closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Indi lands in his opponent's guard.

Indi lands a couple of elbows.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Indi stands up and waves to Passat to follow him.
Passat tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Indi paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Indi takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Indi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Passat pinned against the cage. Passat gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ruffuss Passat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Indi.

Indi thows a huge punch but Passat dodges it nicely.

Indi is stalling here. Passat is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Indi seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Passat has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Indi bucks Passat off and manages to get back to his feet!
Passat throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Indi misses with a looping right.
Passat throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Indi.

Passat seems to be stalking Indi here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Indi drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
