The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyler scores with a jab to the jaw.
Pena looks for a takedown but Tyler sprawls well.
Pena fails with the takedown
and Tyler counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Pena doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Tyler cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carlos Pena. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Pena has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Pena there as he acknowledges the shot.

Oh Pena is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tyler drops Pena with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Pena looks back up at him and smiles so Tyler waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
