Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quik Yin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucien Smalls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yin comes into the arena with I Got A Feeling (lol :P) blaring out of the sound system. Smalls has chosen Kelis - Milkshake as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Quik Yin could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Lucien Smalls's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quik Yin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lucien Smalls! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smalls throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Yin counters with a takedown into side control. Smalls struggling a bit here. Yin controlling from side mount. Yin working the ground and pound but Smalls is defending the strikes. Yin takes a little break here. Smalls wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Smalls can't do much from the bottom here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yin controlling from side mount. Yin tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Yin trying to control the action but Smalls is working from the bottom. Yin staying calm. Yin taking a break here but Smalls is having none of it and regains half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yin seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
We're going to have a standup here because Quik Yin wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Smalls misses with a looping left. Lucien Smalls seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Smalls swings widly with a right hand
so Yin counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Yin postures up.
Yin controlling from the top position. Smalls is trying to keep Yin in close.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Smalls controlling Yin's posture. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Lucien Smalls hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Yin fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Smalls misses the shot to the body. Smalls throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Yin moves in looking to clinch but Smalls pushes him off. Smalls misses with a hook
letting Yin counter with a right hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Quik Yin dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Smalls ducks under a wild hook from Yin. Yin moves away from the strike by Smalls. Yin throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Smalls counters with a stiff right hand. Smalls is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Yin. Yin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Smalls moves away. Smalls fails to land with a series of punches.
Yin uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Smalls. Smalls misses with an uppercut. Yin saw that one coming. Smalls thows a body shot but no joy. Smalls misses with a series of wild punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A combination from Smalls does no damage. Yin gets a double leg takedown into Smalls's guard. Smalls is controlling Yin's posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yin passes Smalls's left leg - he's now in half guard. Smalls holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Yin is controlling the pace.
Smalls tries to roll over but Yin keeps him under control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Smalls controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Yin is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Smalls is looking for a sweep. Yin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Yin is controlling the pace.
Smalls is staying active underneath Yin, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Yin wants to pass to mount but Smalls is defending the position.

Smalls tries to get back to half guard but can't. Yin trying to control the action but Smalls is working from the bottom. Yin tries to advance to mount but can't. Smalls throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Yin sees it coming and avoids it easily. Yin throws a lazy head kick and Smalls makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Yin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Smalls manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yin is not content to let Smalls control the position. Yin moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Smalls trying to control the position from guard on top but Yin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yin is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Smalls wants to control from the top but Yin keeps moving. Smalls must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Yin is on top in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Yin trying to control the position from guard on top but Smalls is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Smalls is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Yin is looking for a sweep. Smalls is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Smalls wants to stand up but Yin is controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Smalls controlling the action here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smalls not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Smalls is thwarting Yin's attempts to control the position. Yin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Lucien Smalls has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Yin gets back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Yin not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. A telegraphed right hand from Smalls misses the target. Yin shoots in for a takedown but Smalls shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Yin misses with a body shot
and Smalls counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Smalls dips to his left and cracks Yin with an uppercut! Smalls throws a series of punches but Yin avoids them all with ease. A big right from Smalls misses.
And that's the end of the fight! Lucien Smalls comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Yin has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
