The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Mitterer!
Mitterer throws a series of punches but Guth moves out of range.
Mitterer closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Guth to the mat! Guth manages to get full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mitterer wants to stand and escape but instead Guth has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Guth pushes down on Mitterer's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Guth wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mitterer keeps working.
Mitterer wants to get back to his feet.

Mitterer is trying to get back to his feet but Guth has full control of the position and if anything, Mitterer has just worked his way into a worse spot.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Guth wants to control but Mitterer is keeping busy.
Guth has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Mitterer! Can he survive? No! He's out! Guth gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
