Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Alan Winters! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Bobby Moore! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Winters misses with a double jab
and Moore counters with a nice double leg into side control. Winters won't be happy with that. Moore taking a breather here. Moore's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Moore working the ground and pound but Winters is defending the strikes. Moore lands a decent elbow from side control. Moore tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Moore has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Moore wants to lay and pray for a moment but Winters keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moore advances nicely into full mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Winters avoids a series of strikes thrown by Moore.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Alan Winters. Moore jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Winters looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Winters! Moore tries to buck Winters off but Winters is having none of it. Winters wants to control but Moore is keeping him busy. Winters is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Moore is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Moore is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bobby Moore dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Winters throws a lazy right hand but Moore sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Winters doesn't succeed with the takedown and Moore counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. A combination from Moore does no damage. Moore throws a right hand that Winters ducks under and follows up with a left that Winters also avoids with ease. Moore stalks Winters and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Winters's face. Winters staggers backwards, shaken. Winters moves forwards but Moore connects with a nice, crisp jab. Winters misses with a takedown attempt and Moore counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Moore tries to pass to full mount but Winters defends it. Well, if Moore is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Moore eventually gives up the hold. Moore wants to control but Winters is keeping him busy. Winters tries to kick Moore off but Moore keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Moore is trying to work for a kimura but Winters is defending well.

Winters pushes Moore off and gets back to his feet. Winters fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Moore manages to avoid it. Moore throws a series of punches but Winters avoids them all with ease. Moore swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Moore is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Winters doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Moore.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Moore turns into Winters and is now in his guard.

Bobby Moore showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

And that's the end of the fight! Bobby Moore comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Moore has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
