Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Urijah Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Boishuizen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peter Boishuizen told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Urijah Faber! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Boishuizen! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boishuizen tries to clinch up but Faber circles away and keeps his distance. Boishuizen is looking to clinch but Faber is avoiding it.
Peter Boishuizen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boishuizen falls off balance throwing a combination
and Faber counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Faber. Faber won't allow Boishuizen to get back to his feet. Boishuizen wriggles free and stands up. Boishuizen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Faber manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Boishuizen scores with a spinning back kick! Boishuizen lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Boishuizen. Boishuizen just misses with a punch to the body.
Boishuizen tries to clinch and Faber counters with a nice double leg into side control. Boishuizen won't be happy with that. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Boishuizen is trying to escape and get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Faber knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Boishuizen on the ground. Boishuizen regains half guard there - taking advantage of Faber's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Boishuizen is trying to stand.
Boishuizen looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Faber lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Boishuizen wants to get back to his feet. Faber slips a nice elbow through Boishuizen's hands, connecting with Boishuizen's forehead. Faber trying to pass the guard but Boishuizen defending well. Boishuizen is trying to stand back up but Faber is controlling him
Faber lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Boishuizen on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Faber working Boishuizen over with strikes. Faber wants to pass the guard but Boishuizen is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Faber is keen to just control but Boishuizen is a slippery customer. Boishuizen is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Faber scores with a couple of nice shots.
Boishuizen is rocked! Faber lands a big elbow - Boishuizen is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Faber!
