Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pono Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito BombZ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! BombZ throws out a token jab with nothing on it. BombZ falls off balance throwing a combination
and Reyes decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in BombZ's guard. Reyes slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Reyes is trying to get an arm triangle but BombZ is defending well. Reyes is looking to take a break and control but BombZ is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Reyes decides to stand back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. BombZ throws a combination that misses and Reyes counters with a single leg into guard. BombZ didn't expect that. Reyes gets to his feet. BombZ looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Tito BombZ is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Reyes scores with a takedown into BombZ's guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Reyes trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Reyes is working hard here to advance position. Reyes sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed BombZ's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. BombZ is trying to stand back up but Reyes is controlling him
Reyes is trying to control. BombZ wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Reyes content to control rather than advance. Reyes maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! BombZ could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Reyes has cracked it and BombZ is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Reyes!
