Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Boyette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt throws a head kick that misses.
Hunt shoots in but no luck this time.
Hunt tries to clinch up.
Hunt shoots in and drives through. Boyette sprawls well.
Hunt tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Boyette paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hunt pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hunt misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hunt moves in looking to clinch but Boyette pushes him off.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Boyette breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Hunt tries to buck Boyette off but Boyette takes his back!
Boyette is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Hunt is defending well though. Boyette let's go of the attempt for now.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Boyette really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Hunt.

Boyette is looking to take a break and control but Hunt is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Boyette decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Hunt swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Boyette counters with a single leg into guard. Hunt didn't expect that.

Boyette wants to control from the top but Hunt keeps moving.
Despite being in the dominant position, Danny Boyette just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Hunt feints and then cracks Boyette's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Boyette down.

Boyette fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Hunt has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Boyette is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
A bit of stalling here from Boyette.
Hunt blocks the elbow strike.
Boyette gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Hunt has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Boyette is working away from the top position though.

Hunt is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Boyette lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Boyette has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Hunt has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

I've got Boyette winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
