Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Robert Colquhoun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piston Honda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Colquhoun comes to the ring accompanied by The Offspring - Bad Habit. Robert Colquhoun has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Robert Colquhoun! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Piston Honda! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Emerson Jorge and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Honda tries to clinch but fails miserably so Colquhoun counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Honda is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Colquhoun throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Honda seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
We're going to have a standup here because Robert Colquhoun wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Honda darts in trying to clinch and Colquhoun decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Honda's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Colquhoun stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Honda swivels though and keeps the full guard. Honda pulls Colquhoun in close to prevent any damage.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Honda tries to clinch but Colquhoun moves away and Colquhoun counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Honda! Honda manages to regain half guard. Good work. Honda is looking to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Honda avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Colquhoun. Honda is controlling Colquhoun's position as best he can from this difficult position. Honda trying to control here.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Colquhoun circles away from the clinch attempt and Colquhoun counters with a nice double leg into guard. Honda bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Colquhoun's guard. Honda trying to stand up but can't free himself from Colquhoun's guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Colquhoun is working an open guard so Honda takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Honda wants to clinch but Colquhoun slips to the side and Colquhoun counters with a nice double leg into side control. Honda won't be happy with that.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Honda tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Colquhoun wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Honda is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Colquhoun misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Honda tries to bench press Colquhoun off him but Colquhoun keeps the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Honda closes the distance but Colquhoun moves to the side and Colquhoun counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Honda controls Colquhoun momentarily but Colquhoun frees himself. Honda lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Colquhoun! Honda tries to control but Colquhoun wriggling away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Colquhoun looks to move to half guard but instead Honda has passed into mount! Damn! The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Honda looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Honda can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Colquhoun is looking to escape. Colquhoun is desperately trying to improve his position but Honda has a good base and remains in mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Honda looking to control but Colquhoun is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Honda looking to control and managing it successfully. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Honda wants to control the pace but Colquhoun is squirming around nicely. Honda controlling from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Piston Honda. Honda closes the distance but Colquhoun moves to the side and Colquhoun counters with a takedown into side control. Honda is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Honda slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Piston Honda has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Honda tries to land a sweep but no joy.
And that's the end of the fight! Robert Colquhoun showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Colquhoun, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
