Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Slade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oscar Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Oscar Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

That was a close round but I would say that John Slade will probably get the nod.

Sanchez shoots for a double leg takedown but Slade sprawls well. He's pushed Sanchez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

Sanchez manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Slade on his heels. He'll look to pass Slade's guard now, I'm sure.
Sanchez throws and elbow that misses. Slade uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sanchez's guard. Nice move by Slade!

Oscar Sanchez has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Slade, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
