Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves circles away from the clinch attempt.
Blimm tries to clinch
and Alves counters with a single leg into guard. Blimm didn't expect that.
Blimm looking for a sweep. Not yet Blimm, not yet.

Alves will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Blimm wants to sweep here but Alves controlling him for the moment.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Blimm accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Bobby Blimm.
Blimm tries to close the distance and clinch up but Alves swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Blimm is looking to clinch but Alves is avoiding it.

and Alves counters with a single leg into guard. Blimm didn't expect that.
Blimm is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That was a close second round but I would say that Victor Alves will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

Blimm wants to finish this one by submission but Alves is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Blimm.

You get the feeling that Blimm really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Alves takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
