Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Izrit Memkon!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva gets a takedown into half guard.
Silva prevents Memkon from improving his position.
Silva is taking a breather. Memkon says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Memkon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Memkon holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Memkon tries to get to full guard but Silva has control of the leg.
Silva performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Silva is thwarting Memkon's attempts to control the position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Izrit Memkon hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Memkon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Silva paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Memkon misses with a takedown
and Silva counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Memkon!
Memkon reaches up to try and control the position but Silva seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Memkon rolls and tries to escape and now Silva has his back!
Memkon tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Memkon keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Silva is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Memkon is in real trouble.

Silva has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Memkon's body.
Silva has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Memkon has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Memkon is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Silva's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Silva has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Memkon's body.

and Silva counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Memkon working a defensive guard but Silva manages to pass into side control anyway.
Silva advances nicely into full mount.
Memkon is trying desperately to improve position.

Memkon tries to hold on but Silva postures up.
Silva working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Memkon looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Silva! Submission of the night perhaps?
