Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lebron James! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tap Dat Ass! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ass with a poor takedown and James counters into the clinch. Nicely done. James has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Ass uses from the top position. Ass avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
James is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. James looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Ass has picked James up and slammed him! James can't keep hold of the triangle and Ass manages to pass to side control! Ass is looking to take a break and control but James is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. James is looking for a sweep. James really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. James throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. James tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Ass presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! James is working to get back to half guard.
James wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Ass is looking to control James but James is wriggling around and keeping busy. Ass thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. I really don't envy James right now.
Even with his hooks in, Ass manages to miss with strikes from the back. James tries to escape the position.
James is working hard here to advance position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Ass trying to control momentarily.

James looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. James knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ass on the ground. A lull in the action here.
James has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Ass. Ass has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for James! Can he survive? No! He's out! Ass gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
