The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Felipe tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Atsushi paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Atsushi is looking to score with low kicks.
Felipe has his takedown stuffed
and Atsushi counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Atsushi looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Atsushi seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Atsushi prevents Felipe from improving his position.
