Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cesar Jovani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Roxas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jovani might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ecstasy of Gold. Roxas has chosen B!tch I look like Goku as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Cesar Jovani!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Steve Roxas!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Roxas gets the takedown into side control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Jovani tries to kick Roxas off but Roxas keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

It looks like Steve Roxas has been cut.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Cesar Jovani will probably get the nod.

Roxas bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Jovani pushes Roxas away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Roxas gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Roxas jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Jovani is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Jovani and Roxas has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Roxas is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jovani knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Roxas looking to control but instead Jovani has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.

Jovani is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Roxas is controlling him.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

I would just about give that final round to Steve Roxas.
I think Roxas has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
