The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Davison is defended easily by Mashego.
Davison shoots in looking for a takedown but Mashego manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Davison's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Mashego tries to clinch up
and Davison counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Davison maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Mashego could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Davison has cracked it and Mashego is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Davison!
