Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Stglitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sloat Gresham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stglitz's entrance music is Feuer frei!. A fine choice. Gresham has chosen Three Days Grace - Animal I Have Become as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Hugo Stglitz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 12 - 1, fighting out of London, Sloat Gresham! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stglitz ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Stglitz swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Gresham. The fight moves into the clinch position. Stglitz drags the fight down to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gresham trying to control the position from guard on top but Stglitz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Stglitz is trying to control the position but Gresham postures up. Stglitz is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Gresham decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Stglitz doesn't succeed with the takedown and Gresham counters with a straight right hand. Stglitz on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Gresham misses with a lunging right hand
and Stglitz counters with a three punch combo that has Gresham backing up. Gresham nods at Stglitz to acknowledge the strikes. Gresham fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Stglitz, pushing him back against the cage. Gresham manages to break the clinch.
Stglitz displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gresham throws out the jab. Gresham tries to score a power double leg takedown but Stglitz sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gresham somewhat. Sloat Gresham seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gresham closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Stglitz is trying to get back to full guard. Gresham seems to be working for a kimura but Stglitz defends the submission attempt. Gresham blocks the strikes from Stglitz.
Stglitz gets back to full guard.
Gresham stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stglitz swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gresham stands up from guard. Let's bang! Stglitz throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Gresham wants to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gresham moves in looking to clinch but Stglitz pushes him off. Stglitz gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Gresham counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Stglitz keeping moving, preventing Gresham from controlling successfully. Stglitz looking for a guillotine here but Gresham defends easily.
Stglitz pushes Gresham off and gets back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gresham gets caught napping as Stglitz dives in and scores a takedown. Gresham manages to retain guard.

Gresham tries to land a sweep but no joy. Stglitz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Gresham has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stglitz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Stglitz avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stglitz pushes down on Gresham's leg and manages to get into half guard. Stglitz trying to mount his opponent but Gresham defends it. Stglitz prevents Gresham from standing back up.
Gresham has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Stglitz escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Stglitz! Gresham looks gassed!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stglitz trying to control the position but Gresham is working away. Gresham is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Stglitz is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gresham knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Stglitz thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gresham takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Stglitz is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gresham is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sloat Gresham dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Stglitz takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Stglitz has his takedown stuffed and Gresham counters with a single leg into guard. Stglitz didn't expect that. Stglitz is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Gresham wants to control from the top but Stglitz keeps moving. Stglitz is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Gresham drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gresham jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Gresham missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gresham is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Stglitz looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Gresham passes Stglitz's left leg - he's now in half guard. Stglitz manages to escape and get back to his feet! Stglitz has taken the fight to the clinch.
Stglitz has Gresham pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Gresham manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Gresham pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Both fighters circling a little - Gresham finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Stglitz gets tackled into the cage by Gresham. Gresham maintains the clinch. Gresham pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Stglitz walks into a stiff left hand from Gresham.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gresham shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Gresham scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Gresham wants to take a breather but Stglitz is having none of it. Stglitz trying to hold on to Gresham's head to control him but Gresham postures up.
Stglitz is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gresham pulls his head out easily. Gresham is working for a kimura but Stglitz is defending it quite comfortably.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Stglitz is trying to control but can't.

Gresham is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! A nice elbow there by Gresham. Gresham looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Stglitz wants to get back to his feet.

Stglitz is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Gresham is in the full mount, landing strikes. Gresham scoring with strikes but Stglitz is staying in there. Stglitz is squirming around, avoiding Gresham's attempts to control the action. Stglitz is looking to improve his position but Gresham isn't that keen on the idea. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gresham can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Stglitz is looking to escape. Gresham avoids the attempt from Stglitz to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sloat Gresham showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Gresham closes the distance and pushes Stglitz back into the cage. Gresham breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gresham works over Stglitz's head and body with a nice combination. Stglitz jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Gresham walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Stglitz checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Stglitz is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gresham sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Gresham fails with an attempt to clinch.
Stglitz takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Gresham gets caught flat footed, as Stglitz shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Gresham has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stglitz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Gresham working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stglitz doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stglitz manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Gresham takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Stglitz looking to sit in guard and control but Gresham gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Gresham drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gresham jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Gresham gets to his feet - Stglitz follows without any prompting. Gresham thows a leg kick but Stglitz checks it and Stglitz counters with a slapping leg kick. Gresham scores with a leg kick.
Stglitz moves out of range of the body kick from Gresham.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stglitz scores with a takedown into Gresham's guard. Stglitz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gresham swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gresham is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Stglitz manages to get to full guard.
Gresham gets to his feet - Stglitz follows without any prompting. Stglitz tries for a takedown but Gresham sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Stglitz shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Gresham counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hugo Stglitz. That's going to take a lot out of him. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gresham working over Stglitz with some ground and pound. Stglitz looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
