The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marius keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Marius throws a shot from downtown. Buck Jr moves away and avoids it.
Marius swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Buck Jr counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Marius throws a body punch but Buck Jr moves out of range.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Buck Jr throws a right hand that Marius ducks under and follows up with a left that Marius also avoids with ease.

Buck Jr jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Marius walks away with a smile on his face. Buck Jr gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Marius bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Buck Jr's head.
Buck Jr throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Marius .

Buck Jr turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Buck Jr manages to end up in side control.

Buck Jr has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Marius controls Buck Jr momentarily but Buck Jr frees himself.

Buck Jr is fighting to break Marius 's control of his arms but Marius is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Buck Jr tried to score with a low kick but Marius checks it.
Buck Jr throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Marius swings and misses with a hook to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Buck Jr doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Marius tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Buck Jr was well out of range. Poor timing from Marius .
Gaius Marius is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Marius will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Forrest Buck Jr is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Marius sizes up Buck Jr with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Marius tries to close the distance and clinch up but Buck Jr swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Gaius Marius comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Marius has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
