Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Barlko Fatko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darwin Drascoe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fatko comes to the cage accompanied by T.Rex-20th century boy. Drascoe has chosen Pull Me Back To Earth as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fatko tried to score with a low kick but Drascoe checks it.
Fatko looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Fatko throws out a leg kick but Drascoe moves out of range and Fatko only half commits.
Drascoe is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Drascoe closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Drascoe tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Fatko parries the strikes from Drascoe easily there. Drascoe is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Fatko to escape.
Drascoe is looking to take a break and control but Fatko is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Drascoe tries to move into full mount but can't pass Fatko's legs.
Fatko is looking to regain half guard here but Drascoe keeps moving and retains side control.
Drascoe tries to score with some ground and pound. Fatko controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Fatko's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Drascoe sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Fatko tries to reverse the position but Drascoe maintains control.
Drascoe unloads with some shots from mount but Fatko bucks and avoids them well.
Drascoe has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Drascoe scores with a couple of good head shots there.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Drascoe cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
