Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sonny Ramires (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quandre Diggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramires comes to the cage accompanied by Fly Me To The Moon - By Frank Sinatra. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Quandre Diggs enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diggs misses with a takedown attempt and Ramires counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Diggs shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Ramires counters with a single leg into guard. Diggs didn't expect that. Diggs working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ramires doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ramires manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Diggs is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Ramires advances position into side control! Ramires wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Diggs, who protects the arm well. Ramires is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Diggs has escaped the position, nice work there. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Diggs tries to get back to half guard but can't. Diggs gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Diggs looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Ramires is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Diggs to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Diggs shrugs it off. Ramires jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Diggs manages to avoid the submission attempt. Ramires has knee on belly and moves into mount. Ramires can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Diggs is looking to escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Diggs is looking to improve his position but Ramires isn't that keen on the idea. Ramires working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Ramires looking to secure an arm triangle but Diggs defends it well. Ramires wants to finish this one by submission but Diggs is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Ramires.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ramires looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Diggs is wriggling around trying to escape.
Ramires can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Diggs is looking to escape. Ramires looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Diggs is wriggling around trying to escape.
Ramires has control of Diggs's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Diggs regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Diggs is trying to escape the mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diggs is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Ramires locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Diggs is forced to tap!
