Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Waters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joao Pequeno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Waters's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, 50 Cent - Ready for War. Pequeno is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Cão da Morte by Mão Morta. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waters throws a right hand that misses
and Pequeno counters with a nice low kick that buckles Waters's knee momentarily.
Pequeno lands a nice hook to Waters's body. Waters takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Waters takes a swing at Pequeno's ribcage but misses.
Waters scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Joao Pequeno has been cut.
Pequeno fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

and Waters counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Waters drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Waters jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Waters throws and elbow that misses. Pequeno uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Waters's guard. Nice move by Pequeno!

Waters will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Waters is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pequeno is just riding it out for now. Waters eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Waters really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Pequeno moves in looking to clinch but Waters pushes him off.

Pequeno stuffs the takedown attempt from Waters. Waters gets slowly back to his feet.
Pequeno misses with a looping right.
Pequeno tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Waters manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Pequeno avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Pequeno throws a good cross that connects.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Waters throws a body punch but Pequeno moves out of range.

and Pequeno counters with a left and a right that stings Waters.
Waters rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pequeno moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Pequeno misses with an uppercut.
Waters throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Waters lands a nice shot to the body.
Joao Pequeno is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Waters avoids a kick to the body.
Pequeno leaves Waters with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Pequeno fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Waters.
Waters is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
