Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Edward Furlong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Brinkley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Furlong might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Captain Bumout. Edward Furlong has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Furlong shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Brinkley but Brinkley pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Furlong fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Furlong connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Brinkley stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Brinkley wants it to stay on the feet.

Furlong lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Brinkley at a distance.

Furlong throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Brinkley was covering up waiting for the punch and Furlong finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Brinkley wants to stand and escape but Furlong is having none of it.

Furlong is pushing down on Brinkley's leg trying to pass to half guard. Brinkley is fighting to maintain full guard but Furlong has managed to sneak the leg through.
