Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darius Parker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Gola!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Jonathan Paton and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker throws a right and a left that Gola avoids nicely.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Gola.
Gola working the ground and pound but Parker is defending the strikes.
Parker is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Gola tries to move to mount but Parker blocks the move with his legs.
Gola wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Parker, who protects the arm well.
Parker is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Gola is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Parker is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Gola is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Parker knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Parker wants to get back to his feet but Gola drags him back down.
Gola tries for a kimura but Parker is defending well.
Parker is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Parker prevents Gola from improving position.
Parker tries to get back to half guard but can't.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Parker is not content to let Gola control the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Parker throws a right and a left that Gola avoids nicely.
Gola fails to land the takedown.
Gola looks gassed!
Parker swinging wilding here.
Gola has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Gola there as he acknowledges the shot.
Parker lunges at Gola with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Gola's hand.
Parker lands with a big left! Gola is wobbled badly! Parker comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Gola to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Darius Parker!
