Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Strikes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joonatan Valasvatsa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

12 - 11 - 1, fighting out of London, Carlos Strikes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Joonatan Valasvatsa! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strikes moves into range and clinches up with Valasvatsa. Strikes blocks a body shot from Valasvatsa. Strikes is trying to break the clinch but Valasvatsa is controlling him. Strikes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Carlos Strikes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Valasvatsa throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Valasvatsa misses the shot to the body. Strikes lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Valasvatsa misses with a body shot.

Carlos Strikes dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Strikes lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Valasvatsa backwards. Carlos Strikes has scored more points in the clinch so far. Strikes has Valasvatsa pushed against the cage. Strikes with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Come on Strikes - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Valasvatsa bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Strikes lands a head kick. Valasvatsa smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Strikes avoids the body shot from Valasvatsa.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Valasvatsa working away. Valasvatsa in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Strikes is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
