Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Walters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Lentz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Walters! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Lentz! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walters with a jab. Walters misses with a lunging right hand
and Lentz counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Lentz looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Walters tries to roll over but Lentz keeps him under control. Lentz is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Walters sees it coming and defends easily. Lentz is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Walters sees it coming and defends easily. Lentz is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Walters doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lentz. Walters is trying to maintain the position but Lentz is very close to passing his half guard. Lentz seems to be looking for submissions.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Lentz is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Walters is just riding it out for now. Lentz eventually gives up the hold. Lentz throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Lentz not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Lentz missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Lentz is looking to advance position but Walters won't allow it. Lentz is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Walters trying to control from the bottom.
Walters on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Walters tries to get out of the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Lentz is trying to work for a kimura but Walters is defending well.

Lentz doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Nice cross by Walters. A clash of legs there as Walters blocks the low kick. Lentz has a takedown stuffed. A shot to the body from Walters misses and Lentz counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Walters's guard now. Lentz postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lentz is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Walters is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Walters has escaped and now he's on top! Walters in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Walters throws a big right hand that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lentz preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Walters postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Walters working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Lentz is pulling down on Walters's head to control his posture. Walters has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Lentz looking to hit a scissor sweep but Walters is one step ahead there. Walters throws and elbow that misses. Lentz uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Walters's guard. Nice move by Lentz! Lentz is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

It's a sloppy attempt though and Lentz jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Lentz thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Lentz drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Walters dives on top into guard. Walters missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lentz scrambles and gets back to his feet.
A big right from Walters misses. Kevin Walters is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Lentz shoots in and drives through. Walters sprawls well. Walters throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Walters throws a poor cross that misses
and Lentz counters with a shoot takedown. Walters fights it but they end up in guard. Walters is trying to keep Lentz in close.

Lentz works a leg free and moves into half guard. Lentz frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Walters working to try and regain half guard.
Lentz with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Lentz working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Walters defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Lentz. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
George Lentz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
