Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mikai Arcisais (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikey Schultz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Mikai Arcisais has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Mikai Arcisais seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schultz blocks a low kick nicely. Arcisais misses with a combination
so Schultz counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Arcisais throws his legs up looking for a submission but Schultz uses it to pass to side control.
Arcisais is looking to regain half guard here but Schultz keeps moving and retains side control. Arcisais prevents Schultz from improving position. Schultz is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Arcisais will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Schultz moves into full mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Schultz controlling from mount. Arcisais manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Schultz is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Schultz's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Schultz wants to pass the guard but Arcisais is defending well. Still in half guard, Schultz seems content to control. Arcisais looking for subs from the bottom but Schultz mounts him! Let's hope that Schultz has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Mikey Schultz was stalling too much, according to the referee. Arcisais throws a right and a left that Schultz avoids nicely. Mikai Arcisais is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Arcisais misses with a wild combination.

Mikey Schultz has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Schultz scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Schultz looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Schultz seems to be looking for submissions.
Arcisais is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Schultz pulls his head out easily. Schultz is controlling the pace.

Mikey Schultz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Schultz looking to score a takedown here. Arcisais is defending well but Schultz drives through and ends up in Arcisais's guard. Arcisais throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Mikey Schultz wasn't active enough on the ground. Arcisais lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Schultz circles away quickly and effectively.

Schultz closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Arcisais quickly recovers to half guard. Schultz not doing much here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Arcisais tries to improve his position but instead Schultz has taken his back! Schultz is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Schultz really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Arcisais. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Schultz is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Arcisais is defending well though. Schultz let's go of the attempt for now. Schultz biding his time, looking for the opening.
Mikai Arcisais has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
And that's the end of the fight! Mikey Schultz comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Schultz has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
