The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blacklands shoots in and drives through. Garcia sprawls well.
Garcia throws an off balance right hand
and Blacklands counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blacklands is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Garcia defends it well.
Blacklands will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Blacklands has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Garcia defend it? Blacklands steps over the head and cranks it - Garcia is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Blacklands!
