Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lyoto Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roibos Fredriksson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddell comes to the cage accompanied by Rza - Fatal. Fredriksson has chosen The Wolverine Theme as his entrance music. Lyoto Liddell had a look across the cage there at his opponent. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Liddell lands a big head kick that sends Fredriksson tumbling to the mat! Liddell takes a step backwards and waves Fredriksson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Roibos Fredriksson has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Fredriksson counters with a three punch combo that has Liddell backing up. Liddell nods at Fredriksson to acknowledge the strikes.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Liddell enables Fredriksson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Liddell manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Liddell feints and then cracks Fredriksson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Fredriksson down.
Fredriksson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Liddell sprawls well. Liddell wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fredriksson gets slowly back to his feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Fredriksson is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Liddell has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Liddell!
