Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Gutieres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Jakson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jakson has chosen Thriller as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gutieres throws a left and a right that both miss
and Jakson counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Gutieres throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Jakson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Jakson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Jakson is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jakson decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Gutieres throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Jakson counters with a solid body kick.
Gutieres is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jakson throws a quick head kick that knocks Gutieres silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Jakson is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
