Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nick Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Myers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Myers has chosen Halloween Theme as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Myers! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Myers. Fisher does a little dance to reset his feet. Fisher lands a slapping body shot.
Fisher tries to clinch but Myers moves away and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Myers misses with a double jab.
Fisher defending well as Myers loads up on a big left hand. Good shot there by Myers. Fisher throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Myers counters with a nice leg kick. Myers moves into range and clinches up with Fisher. Myers slowing the pace effectively. Myers blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Myers's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Fisher on the wrong end of a nice jab. Fisher throws a head kick that misses and Myers counters with a nice leg kick. Myers throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Myers gets a clinch. Fisher tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Myers smiles and moves away.
Fisher really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Myers moves into the clinch. Myers lands a body punch in the clinch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Myers lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Myers breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Myers scores with the left hand. Fisher knows he should have avoided that one.
That's one minute gone in the round. Myers uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Fisher. Myers closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Fisher tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Fisher's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Myers defending well as Fisher loads up on a big left hand. Fisher darts in trying to clinch and Myers counters with a stiff right hand. Myers throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Fisher stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Fisher closes the distance looking to clinch and Myers counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Myers. Myers digs a right hand underneath Fisher's ribcage. Fisher let out a lung full of air as it connected. Fisher changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Myers fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Myers comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Nick Fisher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fisher looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Myers throws a nice inside leg kick. This has been an exciting period of action! Fisher shoots in but doesn't get the takedown letting Myers counter with a right hand.

Myers's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. A short uppercut from Myers. Myers escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Fisher wants to clinch letting Myers counter with a right hand. Myers connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Myers uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Myers scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Myers scores with a kick to the body.
Myers is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Fisher had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Fisher on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Myers. Myers obviously looking to wear him down.

Fisher takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Myers darts in and clinches Fisher up against the cage. Fisher takes an elbow to the temple. A short uppercut from Myers. Fisher is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Fisher misses with a hook from the clinch. A right hook to the body lands for Myers.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Myers manages to break the clinch.
A big left from Fisher misses. The fighters circle momentarily. Myers darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Myers clinches up with Fisher and pushes him back against the cage. Fisher looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Myers just leaning against Fisher, taking a breather. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fisher shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Myers bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Fisher's head.
