Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, John Kavanagh and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandez gets a clinch.
Morris gets underhooks to prevent Fernandez's takedown attempt.
Fernandez has had enough of the clinch but Morris keeps him there for the moment.
A frustrated look appears on Fernandez's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Morris really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Fernandez gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Morris is trying to stand up here but Fernandez is controlling him well.
Fernandez is looking to advance position but Morris won't allow it.
Morris is trying to get back to full guard.
Morris moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Fernandez must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Fernandez thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Fernandez thows a big elbow that misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fernandez controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Fernandez prevents Morris from getting back to his feet.
Morris pushes Fernandez off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Morris misses with a takedown
and Fernandez counters with a single leg into guard. Morris didn't expect that.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Morris wants to sweep here but Fernandez controlling him for the moment.
Fernandez postures up in Morris's guard and throws a big left but Morris blocks it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fernandez trying to control the position from guard on top but Morris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Fernandez in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Fernandez would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Morris manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Fernandez looks gassed!
Morris has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Fernandez's face.
Morris lands with some strikes.
Morris connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Fernandez is in a horrible position here. Morris smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fernandez is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Morris! Fernandez is hurt baaadly! Morris is firing away with more strikes - Fernandez is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
