Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Laz Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Polski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Polski has chosen Pursuit of Happiness as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Laz Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Luke Polski! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Polski blocks a jab. Jr misses with the combination.
Jr swings widly with a right hand
and Polski counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. A slow jab from Polski misses its intended target. Jr is looking to slow Polski down with leg kicks. Jr is looking to clinch. Jr throws a poor cross that misses
and Polski cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Jab by Polski. Jr avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jr tried to score with a low kick but Polski checks it. Jr looks to clinch and Polski cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Jr gets caught napping as Polski dives in and scores a takedown. Jr manages to retain guard. Jr lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Polski! Polski is working to get back to half guard.
Jr won't let Polski get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jr punching from mount but Polski doing a good job of avoiding damage. Jr dominating with strikes here. Jr throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Jr throwing strikes but Polski bucks up and reverses the position. He's now in guard on top. Jr won't allow Polski to get back to his feet. Polski is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Jr keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Polski's head. Polski is looking to stand up but Jr isn't so interested in that idea. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jr accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Polski wants to stand but Jr is controlling the position. Jr postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Polski wants to get back to his feet but Jr is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Jr has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jr postures up in Polski's guard and throws a big left but Polski blocks it. Jr throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jr thows a big elbow that misses. Jr throws a strike but Polski rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Jr is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Polski is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Polski trying to control but Jr is working from the bottom. Polski is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Polski stands and throws Jr's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Polski lands an elbow. Polski is putting a hurting on Jr here, landing some big shots from side control. Jr tries to get back to half guard but can't. Polski working the body and head with strikes. Polski is trying to get an arm triangle but Jr is defending well. Polski swings around for an armbar but Jr sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Polski's guard.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Jr stopping the sweep attempt from Polski. Jr connects with a couple of short punches. Jr throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Polski works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Jr postures up.
Jr working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Jr won't allow Polski to get back to his feet. Polski has control of Jr's left arm, preventing Jr from doing any damage.
That's six minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Jr working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Polski uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Jr throws a right hand that misses
and Jr takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Jr fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Polski has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Polski changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Jr moves away from the strike by Polski. Polski misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Polski scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Polski lands a nice forearm strike. Jr is trying to get back to half guard. Polski has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Jr!
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Polski working away from the top, dropping strikes. Polski lands with some strikes. Polski working the ground and pound effectively.
Jr is rocked! Polski is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jr can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Polski can't control as he wanted to and Jr manages to get the fight back to his half guard.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Jr gets full guard. Jr looking to hit a scissor sweep but Polski is one step ahead there. Polski is in close to Jr's body, working some short punches and elbows. Polski drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jr looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jr looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jr! Polski is trying to get back to his feet.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Jr cracks Polski with an elbow. That is naaassty. Polski can't do much from the bottom here. Jr working the strikes but Polski uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Jr thows a huge punch but Polski dodges it nicely.
Jr with the ground and pound but Polski uses the opportunity to regain guard. Polski is looking to stand up but Jr isn't so interested in that idea. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Luke Polski dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Jr connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Polski momentarily.
Polski connects with the punch. Polski gets the takedown into side control. Polski is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jr is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Polski works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Jr tries to bench press Polski off him but Polski keeps the position. Jr sneaks back into half guard. Polski is looking to take a break and control but Jr is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jr avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Polski. Polski looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Jr keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Polski throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Polski lands strikes from half guard. Jr has hold of Polski's hands but Polski slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Polski drops an elbow to the side of Jr's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jr avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Polski. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Polski throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Jr trying to get back to full guard but Polski takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Polski wants to finish this one by submission but Jr is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Polski. Jr really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Polski with a couple of short strikes. Oh Jr is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Jr is wriggling around trying to escape.

Luke Polski has got the better of the ground game so far. Polski postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Jr in real trouble here! The ref calls for Jr to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
