7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jon Jones! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Airey with a lazy takedown attempt and Jones counters with a takedown into side control. Jones throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Airey tries to improve position but can't. You can see the frustration on Airey's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Jones looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Airey is avoiding damage well.
Jones postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Jones throws a strike aimed at the side of Airey's head but Airey avoids it well. Jones cracks Airey with an elbow. That is naaassty. Airey managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Jones.
Jones looks up at the clock and then as Airey takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Jones smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
