5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Zambidis! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zambidis chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Zambidis scores a takedown into full mount! Zambidis avoids the attempt from Gunn to control. Gunn is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Zambidis content just to control the position here. Gunn tries to hold on but Zambidis postures up. Gunn is desperately trying to improve his position but Zambidis has a good base and remains in mount.

Zambidis is looking to take a break and control but Gunn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mike Zambidis has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Gunn misses with a right hand so Zambidis counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Gunn wants to sweep here but Zambidis controlling him for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lee Gunn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zambidis misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gunn throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Zambidis throws an off balance right hand
and Gunn counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Zambidis wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Gunn is now in half guard. Zambidis is staying active underneath Gunn, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Gunn is working for a kimura but Zambidis is defending it quite comfortably.
Zambidis is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Gunn is trying to control the action in half guard but Zambidis is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zambidis is trying to maintain the position but Gunn is very close to passing his half guard. Gunn trying to mount his opponent but Zambidis defends it. Zambidis has one foot on Gunn's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Zambidis tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Gunn manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Gunn throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Zambidis counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Gunn's guard now. Gunn lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Zambidis! Zambidis tries to lock up and control but Gunn gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Zambidis is working to get back to half guard.
Zambidis is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zambidis tries to improve his position but instead Gunn has taken his back! Gunn not allowing Zambidis to control his hands. Zambidis is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
A lull in the action here.
Zambidis just trying to survive but Gunn is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Gunn has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Zambidis's body.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Gunn misses with a looping right. Zambidis throws a poor cross that misses
and Gunn counters with a nice uppercut. Gunn uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Zambidis misses with a double jab.
Zambidis swings away with a leg kick that misses. Gunn misses with a lunging right hand
and Zambidis counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Lee Gunn has been cut. Zambidis tries to move into range but Gunn moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Zambidis throws a series of punches but Gunn moves out of range. Gunn throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Zambidis counters with a three punch combo that has Gunn backing up. Gunn nods at Zambidis to acknowledge the strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! Gunn throws a hook but Zambidis avoids it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gunn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zambidis swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gunn stops Zambidis from standing up. Zambidis is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Gunn keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Zambidis sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Gunn defending well though. Gunn wants to control but Zambidis is keeping busy.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Zambidis controlling from mount. Mike Zambidis is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Let's hope that Zambidis has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Gunn is working to get back to half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Mike Zambidis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Zambidis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
