The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allister tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Pride connects with a leg kick. Allister looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Allister falls off balance throwing a combination
and Pride counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Pride lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Allister moves into range and clinches up with Pride.
Allister tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pride lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

and Pride counters with a slapping leg kick.
Pride throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Allister's head.
Allister drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Allister takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Pride lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Bubba Allister seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pride turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Pride fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Allister has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Gay Pride is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Allister takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Allister ducks into an uppercut from Pride and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
