Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Corey Winchester!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Esta me Dinero!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Eliza Hachem and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winchester scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Dinero closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Dinero stalling.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dinero wants to pass to mount but Winchester is defending the position.

Dinero stands up and beckons Winchester to join him on the feet.

Dinero closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Winchester to the mat! Winchester manages to get full guard.
Dinero controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Winchester tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Winchester working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dinero doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dinero manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Dinero is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Winchester trying to control but Dinero flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!

Dinero is trying to stick to Winchester's back but Winchester is turning into Dinero. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Dinero's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Winchester.

Dinero has his feet on Winchester's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Winchester moves out of range of the body kick from Dinero.

Dinero has Winchester up against the cage in a clinch.
Dinero lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Dinero throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Winchester blocks it with crossed arms.
Winchester tries for a takedown. No joy.

Dinero has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Winchester is trying to keep an underhook but Dinero manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Dinero looks gassed!
Winchester is looking to improve his position.
Winchester is looking to control Dinero's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Winchester avoid being mounted?
Dinero prevents Winchester from standing back up.

Dinero decides to stand up.
Winchester scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Dinero moves out of range of the strikes.
Winchester rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Dinero counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Dinero.

Dinero turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Dinero manages to end up in side control.
Winchester tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Dinero cracks Winchester with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Winchester is not content to let Dinero control the position.

Dinero tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dinero has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Winchester is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Esta me Dinero dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Dinero shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Dinero seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Winchester is trying to get back to full guard.
Winchester wants to get back to full guard but Dinero has passed into side control.
Dinero misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Dinero thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Winchester will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dinero displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Winchester throws out the jab.
