Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Connor Clay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson has chosen King of Kings as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Connor Clay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andy Anderson! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Hugh Johnson and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clay misses with a takedown attempt and Anderson counters with a nice low kick that buckles Clay's knee momentarily. Anderson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Clay counters with a single leg into guard. Anderson didn't expect that. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! There's a bit of a scramble here and now Anderson is on top in guard.
Anderson stays in close to Clay's body and controls the position. Anderson wants to control from the top but Clay keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Anderson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Clay knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Anderson on the ground. Anderson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Clay, up you get! Anderson turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Clay is breathing heavily. Anderson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Clay sprawls well initially but Anderson persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Anderson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Anderson frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Anderson raining down shots from the mount! Anderson is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Anderson!
