Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anton Cristian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rusty Spoons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cristian looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Spoons looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Spoons keeping moving, preventing Cristian from controlling successfully.

With the fighters up against the cage, Spoons throws an elbow but misses.

A short body shot lands from Cristian as the two fighters clinch.

Cristian is trying to push Spoons away but Spoons has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
A frustrated look appears on Cristian's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Cristian throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Spoons pulls guard successfully.
Spoons has Cristian pulled in close to control his posture.
Spoons is trying to keep Cristian in close.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Spoons is on top in guard.

and Cristian holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Cristian tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Spoons just stands there and leans against the cage.

Spoons breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Anton Cristian is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

and Cristian decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Spoons's guard.

Cristian looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Spoons!
Rusty Spoons has got the better of the ground game so far.
Spoons is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Spoons wants to control but Cristian is having none of it.

Cristian wants to stand up but Spoons has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Spoons is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cristian defends well.
Cristian has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Cristian wants to get up but he can't break Spoons's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Spoons is pulling down on Cristian's head to control his posture.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Spoons wants to stand up but Cristian is controlling him.

Rusty Spoons has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Spoons gets tackled into the cage by Cristian. Cristian maintains the clinch.
Cristian breaks the clinch.
Spoons shoots for a double leg takedown but Cristian sprawls well. He's pushed Spoons's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Cristian looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Cristian stalks Spoons and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Spoons's face. Spoons staggers backwards, shaken.
And that's the end of the fight!
Anton Cristian showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Cristian has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
