The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Swagger moves in looking to clinch but Walker pushes him off. Swagger looks for a takedown but Walker sprawls well. Walker shoots and misses and Swagger counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Swagger trying to control the pace. Swagger thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Walker's head. Swagger is trying to control. Walker wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Swagger is just content to waste time from the top position. Walker takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Swagger postures up in Walker's guard and throws a big left but Walker blocks it. Swagger wants to control from the top but Walker keeps moving. Swagger throws a big right hand that misses. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Walker is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Jack Swagger showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Andrei Walker's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Walker looks to land a strike but Swagger avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Walker scoring with some ground and pound. Walker wants to stand and escape but instead Swagger has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Swagger seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Swagger decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Swagger closes this distance looking for a takedown but Walker circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Swagger shoots in for a double leg but Walker sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Swagger fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Walker avoids it really well and circles away. Andrei Walker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Swagger. Walker darts in and clinches Swagger up against the cage. Walker breaks the clinch.
Swagger shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Walker pinned against the cage. Walker gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Swagger rushes Walker and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Swagger escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Walker pushes Swagger against the cage but Swagger circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. A punch combination from Walker misses. Andrei Walker is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Swagger defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Walker. Swagger drives through with a takedown into guard. Swagger throws a big right hand that misses. Swagger is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Swagger is working Walker over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Swagger stands up from Walker's guard - Swagger perhaps looking for a knockout. Swagger fails with a takedown attempt. Walker misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Walker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Walker misses with a takedown attempt - Swagger sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Swagger feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Walker working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Swagger. Jack Swagger is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
