The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beauvais throws a head kick but Penn moves out of range.
Beauvais closes the distance looking to clinch
and Penn counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Shane Penn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beauvais on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Penn throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Beauvais counters with a one-two to the body.
Penn stuffs the takedown attempt from Beauvais. Beauvais gets slowly back to his feet.
Penn clobbers Beauvais with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
