Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Ferr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Rozalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, David Ferr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Martin Rozalski! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ferr cracks Rozalski with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Rozalski looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Ferr finish him?
It looks like Martin Rozalski has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ferr looks to clinch and Rozalski counters with a thumping low kick. Rozalski fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Ferr stuffs the takedown attempt from Rozalski. Rozalski gets slowly back to his feet. Rozalski circles away from the clinch attempt and Rozalski counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Rozalski has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Ferr regains guard immediately. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ferr can't keep his opponent in guard - Rozalski advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Rozalski controlling the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rozalski is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Ferr! Ferr wants to try and get back to his feet. Rozalski controlling the pace for now. Rozalski misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Rozalski trying to control but he's not successful this time. Rozalski unloads with some shots from mount but Ferr bucks and avoids them well.
Ferr is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Rozalski tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Ferr's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Rozalski wants to control the pace but Ferr is squirming around nicely. Rozalski throwing strikes here but Ferr is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ferr really wants to buck Rozalski off and get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rozalski unloads with some shots from mount but Ferr bucks and avoids them well.
Rozalski looking to finish Ferr with some ground and pound. This is bad for Ferr! Rozalski wants to control the pace but Ferr is squirming around nicely. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Rozalski tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Rozalski trying to control but he's not successful this time. Ferr is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Ferr tries to escape but Rozalski is in control. Rozalski passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Ferr! Rozalski looking to control but Ferr is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Rozalski throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Ferr is breathing heavily. Rozalski working Ferr over with strikes here. Rozalski takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rozalski jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Ferr manages to avoid the submission attempt. Rozalski has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ferr closes the distance looking to clinch and Rozalski counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Rozalski. Rozalski stops Ferr from standing up. Rozalski trying to control but Ferr is working from the bottom. Rozalski is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Ferr wants to stand but Rozalski is controlling the position.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Martin Rozalski hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Rozalski will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rozalski throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ferr's waist but Ferr gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rozalski off to one side. Rozalski is breathing heavily. Ferr gets caught flat footed, as Rozalski shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Ferr keeping moving, preventing Rozalski from controlling successfully. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rozalski accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Rozalski gets to his feet. Ferr looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Ferr tries to clinch but Rozalski moves away and Rozalski counters with a takedown into side control. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Rozalski throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Rozalski has hold of Ferr's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ferr manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Rozalski lands a big shot there that rocks Ferr but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Rozalski takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ferr drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Rozalski dives on top into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rozalski with a flurry of punches that miss. Rozalski sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ferr's guard. Ferr blocking the ground and pound attempt from Rozalski. Rozalski uses his free foot to push down on Ferr's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ferr. Rozalski sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Rozalski might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Ferr kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Martin Rozalski has got the better of the ground game so far. Rozalski looking to control and managing it successfully. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Ferr is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
