Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rellik X (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pain's entrance music is Step Up. A fine choice. X comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I Gotta Feeling kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Max Pain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Rellik X! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pain drives through with a takedown into X's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Pain trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but X manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. X stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pain swivels though and keeps the full guard. Pain keeping moving, preventing X from controlling successfully. X got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pain has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, X has managed to get both his arms back between Pain's legs - danger averted. X chips away with some ground and pound. Pain working for a triangle but X defends it easily.
Pain looking for a sweep. Not yet Pain, not yet. X sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Pain's guard. X has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. X thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Pain blocking the ground and pound attempt from X. Pain actively working from the bottom here. Pain tries to roll over but X keeps him under control.

We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Pain looking for submissions off his back. X is looking to advance position but Pain won't allow it. X misses with a head shot. Pain uses the momentum to regain guard. X works a leg free and moves into half guard. Pain blocking the ground and pound attempt from X. X throws a strike but Pain avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Pain keeping full guard, as X tries to pass.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. X trying to control the position from guard on top but Pain is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. X stands and throws Pain's legs to the side, diving into side control. Pain regains half guard. X working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Pain is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but X pulls his head out easily. X missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Pain is not content to let X control the position. Still in half guard, X seems content to control. X sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Pain defending well though. Pain looking for submissions off his back. X trying to mount his opponent but Pain defends it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. X scores with a couple of good hammerfists. X drops an elbow to the side of Pain's head. Pain looking for submissions from an awkward position here. That's four minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as X accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Pain looking for a sweep. Not yet Pain, not yet. Pain is breathing heavily. Pain is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. X trying to control the position from guard on top but Pain is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. X keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Pain's head. Pain looking for submissions from the bottom but instead X passes into side control.
X lands a decent elbow from side control. X cracks Pain with an elbow. That is naaassty. Pain tries to buck X off but X is having none of it. X working the head and body with strikes. Pain takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. X decides to stand up, so the ref orders Pain to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rellik X dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Pain has his takedown stuffed and X counters with a thumping low kick. Rellik X is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. X misses with a low kick. Pain closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. X quickly recovers to half guard. X holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. X wants to get back to full guard. Pain prevents X from standing back up.
Pain is trying to work for a kimura but X is defending well.

X looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pain with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. X is keen to just control but Pain is a slippery customer. X passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Pain! X breaks from Pain's wrist control and lands an elbow. X looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. X winds up and cracks Pain with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Pain looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Pain is looking for a sweep. X is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rellik X showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!
X throws a nice outside leg kick. X throws a right hand that Pain ducks under and follows up with a left that Pain also avoids with ease. A combination from X does no damage. Pain tries for a takedown but X circles away easily and X counters with a nice low kick that buckles Pain's knee momentarily. X lands with a nice combination. Pain backs away looking to recover. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pain shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and X counters with a nice double leg into guard. Pain working for a triangle but X defends it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. X lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Pain has momentary wrist control but X slips an elbow through the middle. X thows a big elbow that misses. X is looking to work some ground and pound but Pain has wrist control. X slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. X is putting a hurting on Pain here, landing some big shots from side control. X lands an elbow. X is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pain is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. X lands some shots froms side control. Pain is looking to regain half guard here but X keeps moving and retains side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. X is putting a hurting on Pain here, landing some big shots from side control. X wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pain keeps working. Pain defending against the ground and pound. Pain takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. X lands a nice forearm strike. X wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pain keeps working. Pain taking punishment in the form of punches.

X stalling away here and it's allowed Pain to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Pain had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. X defends it easily. X throwing strikes from guard but Pain blocks nicely. X stopping the sweep attempt from Pain.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pain has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but X can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. X is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Pain has his foot on X's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. X works his way back into a safe position though. X wants to control from the top but Pain keeps moving. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. X scoring with punches to the head and body. X with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Pain looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
And that's the end of the fight! Rellik X comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well X has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
