Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Patton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Craig Patton will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryan Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Craig Patton! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller tries to clinch but Patton is having none of it. Nice uppercut there from Patton. Nice sprawl there from Patton as Miller shoots in. Patton clinches with his opponent.
Patton is trying to stall.
Miller misses with a knee to the head. Patton throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Miller blocks it with crossed arms. Miller looking to throw knees to the head but Patton is blocking nicely.

It looks like Craig Patton has been cut. Miller misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Patton.
Patton blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Patton is looking to control Miller's arms but Miller gets an underhook and turns him. Now Patton has his back to the cage. Patton is fighting off a takedown attempt but Miller is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Patton to the mat. Patton regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Miller tries to free his leg and advance position but Patton is retaining full guard. Patton has a closed guard, preventing Miller from standing up. Miller gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Patton takes the fight into the clinch. Patton escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller rushes Patton and presses him up against the cage. Miller unloads a knee to the mid-section. Miller lands an elbow just above Patton 's eye. Patton fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Miller has Patton pressed against the cage, preventing Patton from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Miller comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Miller wants a takedown.
Patton tries to pull guard but Miller holds him up against the cage and eventually Patton drops back down to his feet.

Patton pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Miller is keeping the position for now. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Patton would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Miller fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Patton, pushing him back against the cage.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller jumps guard and drags Patton to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Patton trying to control but Miller is working from the bottom. Patton throwing strikes but missing. Patton slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Patton wants to control from the top but Miller keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Miller closes this distance looking for a takedown but Patton circles away. Miller dives in and grabs Patton's left leg, looking for a takedown. Patton pushes down on Miller's head and hops out. Patton connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Ryan Miller is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Patton swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Miller scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Patton is trying to control Miller's posture but Miller avoids it. A lull in the action here as Miller stalls from top position. Patton struggling a bit here. Patton is looking for a sweep. Ryan Miller overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Miller decides to stand back up. Miller pushes Patton up against the cage in a clinch. Miller drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Patton. Patton fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Miller to the ground. Patton is now in Miller's guard. Patton trying to control the position from guard on top but Miller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Patton trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Miller wants to sweep but no luck.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Patton prevents Miller from getting back to his feet. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Patton wants to control from the top but Miller keeps moving.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Miller wants to pass to mount but Patton is defending the position. Miller is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Patton tries to roll over but Miller keeps him under control. Miller is thwarting Patton's attempts to control the position. Craig Patton has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Miller stands up from half guard. Ryan Miller is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Patton swats away the attempt to clinch by Miller.
And that's the end of the fight! Ryan Miller showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Miller, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
