Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Gay Beating (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricky Young has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ricky Young! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Big Gay Beating! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Eliza Hachem and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beating misses with a combination
and Young counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Young works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Young advances to half guard. Young not landing any meaningful shots this time. Beating is trying to get back to full guard. Young perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Beating is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Beating really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Young. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Young tries to pass to full mount but Beating defends it. Young sitting and controlling from the half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ricky Young has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Beating gets a takedown into half guard. Young is positioning himself well to prevent Beating advancing to mount. Beating trying to control the action but Young is working from the bottom.

Young manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Beating manages to get himself to full guard.
Young stands and throws Beating's legs to the side, diving into side control. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Beating can do anything to dispel that myth. Beating trying to remain calm as Young controls from the top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Young sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Beating is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Young decides to take the fight back to the feet. Young tries to score a power double leg takedown but Beating sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Young somewhat. Young throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Beating stuffs the takedown attempt from Young. Young gets slowly back to his feet. Beating tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Young was well out of range. Poor timing from Beating. Young shoots in looking for a takedown but Beating manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Young's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ricky Young. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Young looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Beating misses with a few strikes there.
Beating tries to close the distance and clinch up but Young swats him away and circles back towards the center. Beating darts in and clinches Young up against the cage. Young can't break the clinch.
Beating works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Young is pulling down on Beating's head. It's preventing any offense from Beating, at least for the moment. Beating loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Beating won't allow Young to get back to his feet. Young has his hands on Beating's head, controlling the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Beating ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Beating no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Young stays in close to Beating's body and controls the position. Young seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Beating for as long as he can get away with. Young gets to his feet - Beating follows without any prompting. Ricky Young is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Young lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Young throws an overhand right that lands on Beating's shoulder, as Beating tries to avoid the shot. Young keeps the fight on the outside. Young swings for the body but Beating moves out of range.
Young fails with a takedown attempt. Beating scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Young tries to clinch but fails miserably and Beating counters with a series of strikes. Young will be more careful next time no doubt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. That's two minutes gone in the round. Beating keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Beating closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Young did well to prevent Beating getting side control. Beating missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Young tries to get to full guard but Beating has control of the leg. Beating is trying to control the action in half guard but Young is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Beating not landing any meaningful shots this time. Young is staying active underneath Beating, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Young avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Beating. The fighters are battling for position here. Young manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Young manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Beating manages to get himself to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Young trying to control the position from guard on top but Beating is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Young looking to pass the guard. Young passes easily into side control. Nice work. Young advances to full mount. Young punching from mount but Beating doing a good job of avoiding damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Beating blocking the ground and pound. Young sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Big Gay Beating showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Young manages to regain half guard. Good work. Young is positioning himself well to prevent Beating advancing to mount. Beating thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Young's head. Beating wants to control but Young is keeping him busy. Beating sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Young defending well though. Young manages to get to full guard.
Young is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Beating defends well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Young keeping moving, preventing Beating from controlling successfully. Young has control of Beating's left arm, preventing Beating from doing any damage. Young's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Young wants to sweep but no luck. Young throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Beating being controlled here momentarily.
We're going to have a standup here because Ricky Young wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Young lands with a nice body punch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beating looking to score a takedown here. Young is defending well but Beating drives through and ends up in Young's guard. Young escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Beating gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Beating prevents Young from getting back to his feet. Young has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Beating can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Beating wants to control from the top but Young keeps moving. Young controlling Beating's posture.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Beating throws a big right hand that misses. Ricky Young overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Beating trying to control but Young is working from the bottom. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Young is on top in guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Young works a leg free and moves into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Big Gay Beating. I think Beating has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
