The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nasilnik drives through with a takedown into guard.
Nasilnik working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.

Chateau has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Nasilnik off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Oooooh!!! Nasilnik has knocked Chateau down with a huge combo! Nasilnik steps away and waves a wobbly Chateau back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Chateau is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nasilnik avoids the body shot from Chateau.
Nasilnik lands with a kick to the ribs.
Nasilnik swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Nasilnik has managed to clinch.
Chateau wants to get back to striking at distance but Nasilnik won't allow it.
Nasilnik on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Nasilnik gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Nasilnik has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Nasilnik trying to mount his opponent but Chateau defends it.
Nasilnik stops Chateau from getting back to his feet.
Well, if Nasilnik is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Nasilnik missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Chateau wants to improve his position but Nasilnik is controlling well.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Nasilnik is taking a breather. Chateau says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Chateau is breathing heavily.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Nasilnik Nasilnik wasn't active enough on the ground.
A punch combination from Nasilnik misses.

Nasilnik shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Chateau manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Nasilnik lands a couple of elbows.
Nasilnik working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Nasilnik decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Nasilnik lands a left and a right that send Chateau crashing to the mat, dazed. Nasilnik thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Oh Chateau is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

It looks like Cyrille Chateau has been cut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nasilnik batters Chateau with a massive right followed by a huge left! Chateau is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Nasilnik lands a final crushing right hand to drop Chateau to the mat with a gruesome thud! Nasilnik is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
