Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Luco Zade!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, James Camm!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zade fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Zade lands a nice leg kick that just misses Camm's sensitive parts.
Zade moves into the clinch.
Zade lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Zade lands a nice uppercut.
Zade ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Zade no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Zade pushes Camm off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Zade swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Camm.
Camm tries to clinch but fails miserably
letting Zade counter with a right hand.
The crowd cheers as Zade lands an impressive looking overhand right. Camm doesn't seem phased though.
Zade cracks Camm with a right hand to the side of the head.
Camm has managed to clinch.
Zade has Camm pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Zade pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Camm tumbling to the mat - Zade dives into Camm's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Zade connects with a couple of short punches.
Zade slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Camm takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Zade advances to full mount.
Zade with a couple of short strikes.
Zade fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Camm is rocked!
Camm really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zade. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Zade unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Camm wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Zade celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Luco Zade!
