Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thump Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taylor comes to the cage accompanied by Metallica-Master of Puppets. Antonio Silva told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Leandro Rodrigues and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Taylor's waist but Taylor gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side.
Taylor throws a series of punches but Silva moves out of range.
Silva tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Taylor swivels and escapes.
Taylor rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silva moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Taylor looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Silva on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Taylor fails to land with a series of punches.
Silva shoots in for a double leg but Taylor sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Thump Taylor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Antonio Silva.
Taylor stuffs the takedown attempt from Silva. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.

Taylor throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Taylor fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Nice takedown defense from Taylor. No joy for Silva on that attempt.
Silva looks gassed!
Taylor looks to land a combination. Silva sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Taylor paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Silva is trying desperately to land a takedown but Taylor is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Silva.
Taylor tries to bum rush Silva with a series of wild strikes but Silva uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Thump Taylor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva has a takedown stuffed.
Taylor throws a right hand that Silva ducks under and follows up with a left that Silva also avoids with ease.

Taylor throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Silva.

It looks like Thump Taylor has been cut.
Taylor throws a right and a left that both miss.
Taylor throws the left hand but Silva avoids the punch easily.
Taylor throws a big shot that misses.
Taylor fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Silva looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Taylor connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Silva momentarily.
Thump Taylor is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Silva avoids the body shot from Taylor.
Taylor looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Silva moves out of range as Taylor strikes.
Silva shoots in but no luck this time.
Silva tries for a takedown but Taylor sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Taylor throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up but Taylor swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Taylor tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Taylor to the ground. Taylor escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Taylor throws a right hand that Silva ducks under and follows up with a left that Silva also avoids with ease.
Silva drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Silva wants to control from the top but Taylor keeps moving.
Taylor keeping busy on the bottom but Silva has passed one foot through into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Silva landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Taylor moves into full guard.
Taylor scores with a couple of body punches from the bottom.
Taylor lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Silva!
Taylor looking for a guillotine from mount but Silva is having none of it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Taylor has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Silva's face.
Taylor scoring with strikes but Silva is staying in there.
Silva flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Taylor swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
