Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kurt Jamison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevor Gaines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kurt Jamison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Trevor Gaines! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gaines gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jamison to score an easy takedown into full guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gaines can do anything to dispel that myth. Jamison engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Gaines is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Gaines can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jamison controls the pace. Jamison trying to control but Gaines is working from the bottom. Jamison thows a big elbow that misses. Jamison wants to control from the top but Gaines keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Kurt Jamison. Gaines throws an off balance right hand
and Jamison counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gaines won't be happy with that. Jamison tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jamison has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's one minute gone in the round. Jamison trying to control the position but Gaines is working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jamison misses with the ground and pound. Jamison looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Gaines is avoiding damage well.
Jamison has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jamison misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Jamison working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Jamison is looking to take a break and control but Gaines is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Jamison in side control, just content to control the action for now. Jamison has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Gaines! Jamison sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Jamison. Jamison looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Gaines's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Jamison throwing strikes here but Gaines is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Jamison raining down shots from the mount! Jamison working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Jamison goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Gaines turns into him and now he's in Jamison's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jamison has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Jamison is trying to keep Gaines in close.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kurt Jamison dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Gaines misses with a lunging right hand
and Jamison counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Gaines fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jamison manages to avoid it. Gaines uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jamison. Trevor Gaines seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jamison dives in and grabs Gaines's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gaines pushes down on Jamison's head and hops out. Gaines misses with a left hand and Jamison counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Gaines misses with a right hand and Jamison counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gaines won't be happy with that.
Gaines is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gaines wants to get back to his feet but Jamison is dominant here and he's now got Gaines's back! Gaines is still in real trouble! Can Jamison finish him? Jamison lands a good shot there. Gaines covers up! Jamison smells blood and goes for the finish - the referee warns Gaines to improve his position but he's not intelligently defending himself and the referee has no choice but to step in and end the fight! Jamison jumps to his feet and celebrates the important win with his cornermen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kurt Jamison!
