Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, George Lynch!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lynch is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Commando tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Lynch counters with a nice body kick.

Lynch closes the distance and clinches.
Lynch tries to pull guard but Commando holds him up against the ropes and eventually Lynch drops back down to his feet.
Commando fails to pull guard.
Lynch fails to pull guard.
Lynch goes for a takedown attempt but Commando pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Francis Commando has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Lynch.

Commando dives in and scores a takedown into Lynch's guard.

Commando stands and steps away. Lynch gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Lynch tries for a takedown but Commando circles away easily

and Commando counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Commando landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Commando tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Lynch counters by moving into the clinch.

Commando jumps guard and drags Lynch to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Commando tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Commando has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Lynch should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Commando has tightened it up now! Lynch should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
