Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gazzi misses with a double jab
so McCartny counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Gazzi is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Gazzi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
McCartny is looking to control Gazzi's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can McCartny avoid being mounted?
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Gazzi seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but McCartny does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Gazzi leaves McCartny with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Horrible takedown by Gazzi or perhaps it was just good defense by McCartny which made him look bad.

McCartny tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gazzi swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Gazzi shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gazzi showed some decent athleticism there.
McCartny is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Gazzi's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Gazzi's back!
McCartny is looking for the choke from the back position but Gazzi is controlling his hands well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
McCartny has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Gazzi has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

That was a close second round but I would say that Benny McCartny will probably get the nod.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for McCartny, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
